Landscape - Means wider than tall. Example: 20" tall by 30" wide.
Large Format - Any photo larger than 8"x10" is regarded as a large format photograph.
Photo Above: View from Clingman's Dome - Late Fall (This photo is a favorite, because I can count thirteen ridgelines beyond the first ridge and see the curve of the earth as well.
All the large format, landscape photographs of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or other National Parks on this website are all taken to be either 16" X 20" or 20" X 30" in size and printed on Fuji archive paper, which is designed not to let the photograph fade in your lifetime. They are the perfect size, once framed, for the wall in your office, family room, game room, or cabin in the wilderness. While most of the photographs on the website are landscape style, some subject matter, like waterfalls, only a portrait style photograph really does them justice.
The Photographs may be cropped to fit sizes listed. Photographs can also be printed larger, so if you are interested in a larger print please email me and I will work out a price for you.
