The Highlands are clearly the inspiration for this website and where I live when I am in Tennessee. The Highlands are surrounded on three sides by the National Park and located just off the Gatlinburg bypass. The photos of the Smoky Mountains National Park in Gallery 7 were taken at the Highlands, except the views of Mt LeConte with trees in front. Those were taken down the road a bit.
